Cllr Caleb Churchill
Caleb was born in West Wales and raised in Pembrokeshire, and now lives and works in Fishguard, where he runs his own small business. He is passionate about the area and believes strongly in supporting local communities, businesses and the people who make them special.
As a local business owner, Caleb understands the challenges facing independent businesses and the importance of a thriving local economy. He wants to see Fishguard continue to grow as a welcoming town where businesses can succeed, residents feel supported and visitors enjoy everything the area has to offer.
Caleb is also a Fishguard and Goodwick Town Councillor, having become involved in local politics through his interest in community issues and a desire to make a practical difference. He believes that listening to residents, understanding their concerns and working together to find solutions is at the heart of good local representation.
Caleb joined the Welsh Liberal Democrats because he shares the party's commitment to putting communities first, protecting local services and giving people a stronger voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
Caleb's local campaigns include calling for improvements to healthcare services, tackling anti-social behaviour and dangerous driving, and supporting better facilities and opportunities for young people. He is also passionate about Fishguard town centre, supporting independent businesses and ensuring that public spaces are safe, welcoming and well maintained.
As the Field Campaign Organiser for the Preseli branch, Caleb plays a key role in bringing the local team together. He coordinates volunteers, organises literature deliveries and helps lead canvassing sessions across the area. Whether you're interested in delivering leaflets, knocking on doors or getting involved in other ways, Caleb is the person to speak to! He's always happy to welcome new faces and help people find a way to make a difference in their community.
